ASSASSIN IN A BLUE SUIT - A JACQUES DANTE THRILLER

ASSASSIN IN A BLUE SUIT

A thriller about real world assassins that is frightening in its authenticity with none of this super-agent hype you read in other novels. Based on my high risk bodyguard experience and research, the story portrays actual violence and tradecraft and for some people it will be too realistic. I hope my dry sense of humor seeps through.

Here’s what’s really going on in this story and I hope I don’t spill the beans.

There are a lot of real world moving parts to this fast paced thriller. Someone in the Kremlin  wants to undermine the owner of one of the World’s largest hedge funds, using the recently discovered Caravaggio painting. He accomplishes this in a very devious manner. Then there are Israeli and Russian hackers who take control of a Tesla car used as a murder weapon. The target is a corrupt Miami politician who was placed there by the very SUPER PAC that now want him eliminated. Meanwhile a GRU hit team is hunting Jacques Dante who has discovered the Kremlin’s false flag operation. Dante has also tried to kill Putin’s favorite assassin and has found out she is not so easy to drown.

One writer friend described it as “if John Wick and James Bond had a kid it’d be Jacques Dante.”

Not sure how that would work biologically but I get the hyperbolic point. He is a bad ass with a dark and interesting past. I was able to weave into the main plot his origin story and I fell in love with this character, a sophisticated operator, a psychopathic American who was a Legionnaire and now makes a decent living taking care of billionaire’s HR problems. His favorite book is The Count of Monte Cristo and in the story he eventually acquires the nickname The Count.

The story deals with a number of contemporary issues but all within the character arc and the intricate plots: the role of SUPER PACS, how BIG MONEY is manipulating opinions, how powerful and effective Russian intelligence services are, and the new role super billionaires are playing in world politics and rewriting history.

Its also a ripping cat and mouse story. I’ve had four reviewers come up with that phrase ‘cat and mouse’, obviously they haven’t seen our cats and how they treated the one mouse that happened into our back yard.

ASSASSIN IN A BLUE SUIT is available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle.
