My new novel The Jaded Kiwi opens with a Huey helicopter carrying a net full of seeded
marijuana plants over a forest in New Zealand. This sets the stage for a bumper
harvest of wild marijuana plants the following year amidst a severe marijuana
drought in the summer of 1976 in Auckland. For the record, there was a marijuana drought last year as well.
